How MyHousingWiki Works
Last updated: March 20, 2026
1. What We Show
Every project page highlights community-reported positives and negatives so buyers and residents can evaluate real-world experiences, not only brochure claims.
2. How Users Add Issues
Signed-in users can submit:
- Issue heading (required)
- Description (optional)
- Proof text and/or proof files
For negative issues, proof is mandatory before submission.
3. Acceptable Evidence for Negative Issues
Evidence should be specific and reviewable. Accepted proof includes:
- URLs or screenshots of online discussions (like X, Reddit, Google reviews), at least 1 month old or with meaningful engagement on the post
- Screenshots of official WhatsApp conversations; provide multiple screenshots wherever possible to help the evaluation engine establish credibility
4. Verification Lifecycle
Newly submitted issues are initially shown as Unverified.
After evidence evaluation, an issue is either:
- Marked Verified, or
- Removed if evidence is not sufficient or not credible
5. Community Signals
Users can upvote or downvote issues. These signals help prioritize what appears first, while verification status provides additional trust context.
6. Responsible Use
Please submit factual, project-specific inputs with clear proof. Misleading, abusive, or unverifiable submissions may be removed.
For corrections or clarifications, contact info@myhousingwiki.com.
7. Builder and RWA Claimed Pages
Builders and RWAs can claim their project pages through our verification process. Once a page is claimed, authorized representatives can add official updates with clearer accountability.
Claimed-page capabilities include:
- Posting a verified response on any project issue
- Adding clarifications, status updates, and context on raised concerns
- Updating approved marketing material for that project page
This helps residents and buyers compare community reports alongside official responses in one place.
