My mother lives in Casa Rio Palava and we have never done any interiors to the apartment we bought in 2019. Just my mother settled with some basic furniture. Now I want to do proper interiors for my house, as we recently got some paint work done.

Where residents want improvements
The area, particularly the approach roads to Casa Rio and parts of the township, is highly prone to severe waterlogging and flooding during monsoons, often submerging under water. This recurring issue is attributed to the project being built on flood plains and wetlands, leading to significant inconvenience and property damage.
Palava gets flooded very often during monsoons.
My bike submerged in flood in 2019...i lived in caca rio..
This is because whole palava is built on flood plains. Before palava was built, I am sure that whole area must be getting flooded in similar manner.
The Lodha Brand Image has got some serious reputation Damage in the last few months. But this is in Dombivali, so the main media won't give a fuck, cause it's not part of Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika.
Lmao this area gets flooded every year 💀💀i remember when I used to live in dombivali our complex got a boat lol
Even the road to go to Casa Rio has like 1 and a half foot of water. The cars and tryna drive through that shit were wildin.

Residents face significant challenges with daily commutes, including long travel times (up to 4-5 hours daily), high travel costs, and severe traffic congestion, especially on key roads like Kalyan-Shilphata Road. The distance from railway stations and major city centers contributes to this issue, impacting mental health and family life.
Traffic will suck the life out of you if you travel from Palava everyday.
Daily nightmare at Lodha Casa Rio Gold Rd & Kalyan-Shilphata Rd junction! Thousands of us get stuck here for HOURS during office hours. No traffic regulation, no solution.
Please do not go there cuz the travelling time will just kill you by the time you reach work.
The only concern is the distance — Palava is about 16 km from my office, and if I travel daily via Sride (bike taxi), it’ll cost me around ₹170/day, which adds up to ₹4,500–₹5,000/month just on commuting.

The broader Dombivli/Kalyan region, where Casa Rio is located, is often perceived as remote, unplanned, overcrowded, and lacking a 'vibrant crowd' or 'sophisticated' community compared to Navi Mumbai. Concerns about civic sense, safety, and illegal residents are also frequently raised, leading to a general negative sentiment about the area.
Read it loudly .. Palava is a scam... NEVER GO THERE!!! INFORMED BEFORE REGRET!! DROP THE PLAN..
Kalyan and Dombivli, you will find crowd which lack basic civic sense, who are loud, and you will thank god everyday that you survived. These places hv tons of people living illegally.
Dombivli itself is a village. It will take atleast 10-15 years for kalyan dombivali to be properly developed
Sorry but palava is a shitty place to live.

Despite initial high demand, many residents report little to no property value appreciation over several years, with some suggesting that any increase is merely due to inflation. New properties are also perceived as overpriced compared to more affordable resale options in the area.
no price appreciation in that area

The overall cost of living in the township is considered expensive, with high society maintenance, township maintenance (PCMA), and mandatory club house charges. Residents also report inflated electricity bills, leading to objections and demands for withdrawal.
Is club house maintenance mandatory ? I never understood these townships fr...you pay like hell to services even after that you have to buy/hire services which are tied to the developer you don't have better options..
Society maintenance: ₹7800 every 3 months * PCMA maintenance (for township maintenance): ₹8600 for 3 months * Club houses 1 charges: ₹650 per month * Club house 2 charges: ₹880 per month Basically spending ₹84,000 per year or 7k per month just to live like a normal person.
