Despite widespread security issues reported in some areas, there are examples of gated communities in Hyderabad that successfully implement strict and effective security protocols. This demonstrates that effective security is achievable and a key differentiator for residential projects.
These are safe communities. Securiry is tight, can even get overzealous at times. So no hijra menace.
I used to live in bhooja. No one can enter like this. NO ONE. Now my family lives in an even more secure society. Man the formalities are crazy but much needed.
We lived in a gated community and even the relatives had to get approved by us to cross the outside gates. No one can come in unless we say so
Lived in Prestige Group Apartments and Mantri Group Apartments. All of these have gate management apps.

The whole point of spending several thousands on these so called fancy gated-communities is to have safety and ensure visitors/guests/delivery personnel entries are regulated through an app.
Does anyone know which gated community is this? I've seen security at myhome krishi won't allow them inside.
I live in Lanco Hills Apartments and security here is very strict. They aren’t allowed in the society. Once, a guy in my neighbouring flat wanted to invite them to seek their blessings so, he had to take written permission from the management to let them in. He was also asked to escort them while they’re in the premises.

Most gated communities' security is total BS. Unless your society has gatepass system with OTP, it's useless.

Residents holding family events, particularly housewarmings, face aggressive demands for money from groups of transgender individuals. These encounters often involve threats of public stripping, intimidation, and emotional distress, with demands ranging from thousands to tens of thousands of rupees, causing significant financial and psychological burden during what should be joyous occasions.
Our housewarming was yesterday, these people were roaming the corridors today looking for a house to extort and saw our decoration from yesterday. They didn't have much leverage as there were no guests.
Recently got married... Kondapur, sriramnagar colony, Whitefield, ee areas aithe 30k anta. Police and the govt needs to do something about this menace.
It's better to hire some bouncers or personal security while doing such events. As i see it's a daylight extortion!

They came and threatened they would start stripping. My mom started scaring me saying their curses are gonna ruin our lives and just give them whatever they wanted. They demanded 21k.
It's better if the amount is reasonable but there is no limit, my friend had to pay 25k and some even ask for 50k.
They extort money from everyone and police seem to not care about them at all.
This happened with us too, at our housewarming ceremony. They demanded 10k, and when we denied they started publicly stripping. It was horrifying. So we had no choice and just had to pay them and send them off

It's a huge network involving tent house operators, caterers, and decorators. They often refer one another to clients, and someone from these companies will contact the Hijras, providing them with the exact location and time of functions. The Hijras pay these individuals a commission for the information.
Securities guys, maids are the ones who leaks this occasion info to Hizras.

OP, ever stopped to think that maybe the security itself was involved in informing these hijra gangs?
Last summer in my uncle's housewarming (apartment)three hijars came and extorted 15k and while they were leaving gave 2k to the security guard as he gave them the info about the housewarming party (he lost his job in the evening of that day)

That wasn't a resident, that is one of the builder's guys managing the building affairs. Maintenance is still with the builder, we got possession very recently.
It is your personal issue that the robber came and robbed your place, because you are a resident of this gated society. If you wouldn't have been residing here, they wouldn't have come.
Our building management doesn't take any responsibility of turning them away at the gate.
RWA uncles, steal something and they can’t find the person who stole it and ask them to monitor movements of residents that they will. High time these jobless uncles be called out.

Honestly, no one except Police and govt. enforcement can do anything about this. We had our launch date and on the day these people showed up at the gate and started harassing security. They threatened give us 15000 and we will go, else there will be another 100 of them in the next one hour. Seriously?! We had no option, even the security told us to pay them and close it. The govt. has step in and enforce law. This is a plain case of ransom and harassment.
donot blame security blame Hyd and Cyberabad City Police , blaming security is symptom the disease is your's and mine tax is just enjoyed by city police and doing nothing ..

I am a rapido guy , i deliver parcels and pickup passengers sometimes from these gated communities. It is very inconvenient and frustrating. everyone got their stupid rules.
Even then they are useless as hell. Only thing they do is make lives inconvenient for bachelors, delivery guys and guests. Security should be for safety of residents not interrogation of guests and tenants
Yeah.. I’ve seen some places where the security takes a photo of you before letting you in. Like.. wtf is that.
They stop the residents at gate (and always the bachelors when they are either alone or with guests) and ask them to show mygate app. Its fine 1-2 times but not more than that. Also they treat bachelors in the society as second class citizens.

Dont pay maintenance till security issue is resolved.
There is only one solution to this. Withhold a large portion ot maintenance payment (pay a small token amount), and send them an official email/letter citing this screenshot, and cite that rest of the maintenance charges have been diverted to arrangement of security. These people don't understand any language other than money
