The real estate market in Bangalore, including areas adjacent to NRI Layout like Horamavu, is characterized by significantly high property prices. What was once considered an expensive home (INR 80 lakhs+) is now often seen as a baseline or even affordable. New and ready-to-move-in flats, especially from reputable builders, command prices upwards of 1.5 Cr, making homeownership challenging for many and pushing buyers towards more distant or older resale properties. This trend is leading to a perception of an unsustainable price bubble.

True. 80 lakhs is the base price for 3bhk in the outskirts of Devanahalli and Soukya road at present. People won't even bother to show you the apartment if you say that your budget is 80 lakhs.
Prestige for their Somerville property in Varthur and their 2BHK quote is 1.5Cr. It's wayy worse out there.

400 plus Bangladeshi is here working ad maids and rag pickers and they are sheltered by a local who even makes their Adhaar and pan. Ramamurtynagar PS is aware of this.

The area faces a critical water crisis, relying heavily on borewells and expensive tanker water due to inconsistent Cauvery water supply. Reports indicate intensive borewell digging to extract dwindling groundwater resources. Significant Cauvery water leakages further deplete the supply, leaving entire sections of the layout without water. This situation is exacerbated by a broader water crisis anticipated in many Bangalore wards, leading to high costs and uncertainty for residents.
The water tanker spending problem is not only in Whitefield, there are plenty of places in around Bengaluru, one such is Horamavu, Kalkere, NRI Layout, T.C.Palya etc. We also spend huge money.
The area is generally known to rely on borewells/tankers, and is outside the core city where Cauvery water is consistent.
There is huge cauvery water leakage from past 2 months hence the entire NRI layout 2nd phase is not getting water.
