Brigade properties generally receive positive remarks for their construction quality, including the use of high-grade concrete for RCC structures. While some compare it favorably to Prestige and Sobha, others note it might not be on par with the absolute best in the market. The layouts are also often well-regarded.
I stay in brigade. The quality is good but not on par with Sobha I last checked when I bought my home.
Brigade uses the highest grade concrete for its RCC structures if we go by their RERA filings, however that alone isn't an indicator of their construction quality.
Brigade is top notch build quality as well and has good layouts and resale.

The project's location on Kanakapura Road offers metro connectivity, with a proposed feeder bus service to the Silk Institute Metro station. This enhances accessibility and is considered a good investment for property appreciation, despite some opinions that lifestyle and infrastructure may not yet match more established areas like JP Nagar or Jayanagar.
Kanakapura Road projects are so under appreciated… especially the Assetz project coming up is right there next to the metro station
Why don’t you explore Kanakapura main road. It is not that far from JPNagar and u will be able to get at better price and similar metro connectivity.

Where residents want improvements
The project has faced significant backlash due to the cancellation of Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations by the apartment management, which was perceived as culturally insensitive and high-handed. This incident, despite a large local resident population, sparked widespread outrage, allegations of discrimination, and calls for protests. There were also reports of inter-society conflicts, ego clashes within the community, and unsolicited caste census stickers being placed on doors, alongside allegations of forced payments by management/security.
There’s a big ego play that happens there. A lot of hate and anger there. I was fairly disgusted by it.
A small group of residents wanted to celebrate at 12 midnight with fireworks and music on loud speakers. This proposal was rejected by the management team and rightly so, to prevent inconvenience to other residents. Their is no scope of discrimination as most of the society management are Kannadigas themselves, and they were the ones who denied permission.
This happened in brigade meadows of sāluhunase village that comes under kaggalipura village panchayat area. Brigade meadows association president is a Bihari and he abruptly cancelled the evening cultural activities without giving any reason.
Kannadigas in a private apartment community in Bengaluru were about to celebrate Kannada rajyotsava on 31st October night with all decorations, abruptly the management cancelled the permission to celebrate.
In an apartment building ( Brigade Meadows Plumeria, Wisteria, Lifestyle ) simply we saw Stickers of the census, on our flat doors, ( today in the afternoon ) without any call ( Door Bell ) . simply they have pasted the stickers..
If a simple request to celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsava in our own state gets ignored or shut down, then we do need cultural bodies to step in and make sure such disrespect doesn’t become normal.
The same management would be silent and won’t ask a question when some people do dandiya nights and all but Kannadigas festivals bantu andre they will suddenly start questioning.
They are doing wasooli . 5000 they have asked him to pay and forced him to pay as well. I urge the respected authorities to look into this matter. We are planning to file a complaint against the manager and the security guard.
This is common in most apartments in Bangalore, the associations act like they own Bangalore, most of whom are North Indians, there needs to be a Kannada Sangha in every apartment in Bangalore supported by all other Kannada Sanghas to keep these outsiders in check and from taking over.
This is the official facebook page of Brigade meadows.....so it was planned to be celebrated. There's more to the story which needs to be told

Brigade Meadows is described as an older project with outdated floor maps and designs, resulting in tiny rooms. Some Brigade properties are also considered overpriced for the unit size, with concerns about value for money despite the brand name.
It's a very old project, so check it out properly. Even the floor maps and designs are outdated and the rooms are tiny.
I have seen people buy Brigade Cornerstone flats without even seeing the flat for 1.3 Cr for a damn 1200sq house. Thats more than 10K per sq. Is it Mumbai bitch?
The project is quite dated and even the maintenance can improve.

Residents report poor sound insulation between apartments, leading to disturbances from neighbors' activities. Additionally, top-floor apartments suffer from inadequate terrace insulation, causing them to become excessively hot during summer months.
I believe sound insulation is not possible in any big developers owing to how 200 houses are packed in one tower.
I have colleagues in Brigade Meadows Kanakpura...and they suffer from same issue. In fact they don't even have proper insulation done in the terrace due to which the top floor apts are a furnace in summer months!

The Kanakapura Road area, where Brigade Meadows is located, experiences severe traffic congestion, leading to long commute times. NH 948 patch specially near our exit is in bad shape with no maintenance. Please help with repair of this patch.
it took more than 3 hours from Frazer Town via Kanakapura Road to brigade meadows afternoon hours between 1 to 3:30 pm on a Saturday
Please don't say only cheaper apartments are in narrow streets. I live in Uttarahalli and there are 2 societies, Brigade and Mantri, both located in narrow roads, already overcrowded and jammed, selling at more than 2cr. No builder really cares for the access roads.

The project faces criticism for its maintenance quality and reported structural issues in some units. There are also complaints about the "audacious attitude" of owners and management towards tenants, including proposals for additional amenity fees and a lack of action on issues like stray animals, which are a concern for children and the elderly.
The project is quite dated and even the maintenance can improve.
There are structural issues in some of the units and the tenants were told by the Executive Committee to appeal to Brigade Group directly.
Then the audacious attitude that owners and their groups have against tenants (treat us as though we’re some “worms”) — there was a proposal to charge tenants additional fees (on top of CAM charges) if they used amenities, while owners could use it for free.
There are like 50 stray dogs inside that apartment, wherein no action was taken simply (no neutering or splaying), because there’s an animal welfare group that wants them to be there. It’s a hell for the children and elderly.

Brigade properties have been cited for shortcomings in legal and land sharing aspects. This includes instances where common area land was relinquished to the municipality, resulting in an abysmally low Undivided Share (UDS) for owners, which could impact future renovation or redevelopment potential.
Brigade has relinquished all common area land to municipality in many projects, bringing down the UDS to abysmally low value. This reduces registration cost, but then the building can never be renovated to the original super built up area in future.
